Zac Efron Visits Peru, Thanks Fans for Support

Zac Efron may have recently vacationed in Peru, but his thoughts were always back home with his fans.

The actor, who spent time earlier this year in rehab, posted a photo of himself abroad to WhoSay this week and included with it a caption of gratitude that reads:

Hey guys! Just returned from an incredible trip to Peru with my dad and wanted to thank you all for your support these past few weeks� means the world to me. Love you guys!

In came out in mid-September that Efron sought professional help in the spring.

Rumors then circulated that Efron became hooked on cocaine partly to deal with a floundering career and partly over pressure from his parents.

According to the latest report, the ex-High School Musical star overdosed on oxycodone (AKA "hillbilly heroin") during a wild night out on January 3.

An onlooker who spent that evening with Efron even claims he had to be revived by guests at a party.

�I was scared for him,� the source says. �If he doesn�t clean himself up, he�ll be Hollywood�s next big drug tragedy.�
