Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra and Nita Ambani, chairperson of Reliance Foundation, stepped out on the eve of Children�s Day to support an initiative � Save Children�s and Mothers� Lives in India.
Priyanka, who is UNICEF India Goodwill Ambassador, talked about the importance of education for the girl child.
"I am here as an individual. For me health and education for a girl in this nation has always been very important," said PC.
The actress also expressed her desire to watch Master Blaster play his last test match on Thursday.
"I am trying. Lets see if I can make it," said the Fashion star.
Nita Ambani too spoke about Sachin Tendulkar and said, "It�s going to be an emotional moment for all of us. I think Sachin is not going to stop. There is much more that he will do and I am 100% sure about that. And as my son Aakash said that he will tell his son that he saw Sachin bat on the field."
She added, "Sometimes I am always in awe how he treats his kit. He always packs his own kit. And almost with a deliberation of a warrior who treats his weapons. That�s the way he treats his kit
and I think that�s something I kind of look at in awe all the time."
