Intel Future Technology 2014 - v. cool tech demos
We take a look at some brand new Intel powered technology, including a superb depth sensing system that puts Kinect to shame, the postage stamp sized Edison computer on a chip and a very cool dual booting Android/Windows 10.1 inch tablet.

The show was split into products which are on sale or about to be on sale, plus a future tech area and a way out blue sky section which was basically devoted to looking at a vision of the car of the future.

There was also an opportunity to play around with the brand new Intel 2 in 1 Education tablet/laptop computer, which is actually a very cool tool indeed. Especially since it can be directly powered from a solar panel without needing any external battery in between to act as a voltage stabilizer.

It features a 1.3GHz processor, 2 GB RAM and a ruggedized clamshell body, which splits into keyboard and tablet/screen with a quick tug. The battery life also looks excellent. We want one!
