The episode illustrates the misery of a chief guest (Jaspal Bhatti) who actually arrives at a function on time. All 10 episodes of Flop Show are satires done on socio-cultural problems of the common man. The show was immensely popular and still gets repeated re-runs on various Doordarshan channels.The show was shot completely in Chandigarh with some episodes being shot at Punjab Engineering College ( Bhatti is an alumnus of that college ). The cast remained the same in every episode, although they played different characters as each episode essayed a different story. Jaspal Bhatti wife Savita Bhatti produced the show and also acted in all the episodes as his wife. The sitcom was a satire on the socio-cultural problems faced by the common man in India at the time. As part of Harvard Medical School Reflection in Action: Building Healthy Communities™ program, LineStorm Animation students from three different Boston Public Schools previsualized, designed and animated this hand-drawn educational short to emphasize four basic rules for a healthy lifestyle: 1. Eat a Good Diet. 2. Get Regular Exercise. 3. Keep Good Hygiene. 4. Get Enough Rest. The participating Boston Public Schools were The Dearborn School, The Martin Luther King, Jr. School and The Boston Middle School Academy. Pell Osborn of MotionArt Studios, Boston, supervised LineStorm Animation workshops at each school, for students ranging in age from 11 to 16. The students' animation originates entirely on flipbooks, and streams at a rate of ten drawings for every second of screen time. The lively music, "Moving In," was composed by John Murphy; it comes from the soundtrack of the film "Millions," on a Milan CD #M2-36116, © 2005 Milan Entertainment, Inc. and is used for inspirational and educational purposes only.
